Story

Hello...

...and thank you for stopping by our special just giving page for this weekends Dignity Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge!!

Simon, Andy, Eddie, Mark, Keith, Tom, Josh, Matt & Anne are going beyond the call of duty and setting off at the break of dawn this Saturday (4th June) to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks; Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

"Why?" I hear you ask...well, they want to help raise some money to support the work of Dignity in Zambia. There's lots going on like village discipleship groups, leadership and conflict resolution training conferences, individual encouragement and growth of area leaders and building relationshops in new areas. Out of all this work we are seeing Zambian villagers bringing change to their own villages caring for orphans and elderly people, undertaking community projects to help sustain schools or the purchase of a hammer mill to ensure even the poorest in their village can grind their maize at a fair price. It really is amazing to see what's happening.

It's not all because of human effort though - as people are growing in faith and learning more of God's love for them and the purpose he gives us they are being set free from age old mindsets that say "I cannot make a difference".

If you want to join us and help others find real freedom in God and bring change to their communties, then why not dig deep in your pockets and cheer on our fab volunteers as they tackle the Yorkshire 3 peaks...go on, you know you want to!!

You may have already sponsored one of them on their individual just giving pages, in which case we'd like to say a big thanks! If not, then you sponsor them as a group here...thanks so much!! We appreciate each and every gift that is given...
