I'm running the Marathon to help raise funds and awareness for IET Connect. They are a great organisation who help hundreds of IET members and their families each year.

I hope I never need their help but good to know they are there if I do, so please give generously.

I have been a member of the IET since I was at university and have been a volunteer since 2010. I am Acting Chair (Vice Chair) of the IET Central London Network and an IET mentor within Atkins, where I work.

This will be my third marathon, I ran the Athens one in 2012 and 2013. I always wanted to run the London Marathon and IET Connect are a great charity to run for.
