Dear friends, relations and colleagues Thank you for sponsoring me last year on the Butterfly Walk for the Laura Sadler Memorial Fund. As you know I am a Trustee of the Fund and every little amount helps someone. Do please sponsor me again - or come and join us - last year was great fun, and we were thrilled to raise £5,000. The aim of the Fund, set up after Laura’s tragic accident five years ago by her mother Sonya, is to provide practical and financial support to give young actors and actresses the opportunity to realise their dreams. It is really making a difference for those selected. Some of those students being helped now are making their professional stage debut in West End shows such as The Sound of Music, Billy Elliot and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. By the end of 2007 the Fund had helped 14 young people. Awards have gone to students from the Sylvia Young Theatre School, The Bridge, RADA, E15 and for special educational projects at The Factory. Awards have ranged from £250 to £5,000. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
