The CTRT Appeal for £1,000,000 has been set up to fund the expansion of a cancer research team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, including highly-skilled doctors, research fellows, nurses, data managers and technicians, and to build a dedicated research unit where patients can be treated and monitored.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm raising money for the CTRT appeal because I trust the doctors at Mount Vernon. I write this blog, Take Off Your Running Shoes, and according to my "stats" three thousand people visit the blog each week. The CTRT appeal needs a kickstart, say £500,000 to really get going with its next phase. Mostly, the fundraisers tell me, you have to rely on a pop star for that one big donation. But I figure if everybody who reads my blog donates one pound a week for one year, then we are the popstars who set this thing going. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
