Moebius Syndrome is a rare congenital disorder which to date, has no cure. It affects primarily the 6th & 7th cranial nerves, which means that those with the condition are unable to move their faces (can't smile, frown, suck, grimace or blink eyes). We aim to raise £250,000 to fund research into the cause of Moebius.

My story

Hi there, and welcome to my fundraising page.

I am aiming to spend 10 days trekking between 5 to 10 hours per day in the Lares region of Peru. Although this will be an unbelievable and very challenging experience for me personally (and completed before I hit my 40th birthday!), I aim to double the suggested sponsorship money in order to secure funds for our research for a few months longer. We are at a crucial stage in the research and if we can't keep the funds flowing in, then we will grind to a halt.
