For those of you who don't already know, a good friend and work colleague of ours (Jill Cottrell) was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In response to this, we'll be throwing ourselves out of a plane in July...

KIDDING (well not quite). Our friend has received a lot of help over the last few months from a charity known as Revive MS (Revive). Revive provide a range of support, advice and therapy to people affected by MS. Stronger than most people we know, Jill hadn’t initially recognised the symptoms she was experiencing, prior to her diagnosis last year. In what we can only imagine as a horribly upsetting and scary time for Jill, her husband and two children; she turned to Revive and has been overwhelmed by the support she has received from them. Overall, they have been extremely helpful to her; and it is our intention to return this favour (and show our support) by partaking in a sponsored sky dive in July. 

Approximately 1 in 500 people in Scotland live with MS (the highest prevalence of any country in the world). All funds raised from this sky-dive will be donated to Revive to help them expand upon their current services, and continue to make them accessible across a variety of groups and locations. 

The likelihood of at least one of us (Hollie, in all honesty) throwing up mid-fall is high. However, our close work team are committed to supporting Jill in any way we can... and if this extends to being captured on camera (yes, it's potentially being photographed), throwing up, falling  and probably crying simultaneously, then so be it.
