BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

We are 4 sisters who have entered the Gt North Run to raise money for Alzheimers. Our mother who is 87 has been recently diagnosed.  My sister Pamela, who lives in Spain, is the instigator on our joining this event and our mentor as she will be doing all her training in the hot spanish climate.  Any amount no matter how small, is gratefully received.
