JDRF is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and raise money to drive world class research. We aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition. We also help educate those affected by the condition, healthcare professionals and the general public.

Our eldest son, David (Dave) passed away in August 2010 and we have set up an account to raise much needed funds to increase awareness and help for people diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Well done Hannah on completing the 2012 London Marathon in a new personal best time!

Many congratulations to Matt and Andy Powis for completing the Hell of the North Cotswolds cycle ride and the £1,200 plus that they have raised.

Not content with his marathon efforts Chris and good friends Joe and Greg are joining the JDRF London to Paris cycle ride in June 2012.

For those of you who are less active but still want to be involved we have been invited to view some very special gardens in the Cotswolds on Saturday 23rd June 2012.Please let us know if you need any additional information.

Disco Daves World Cup will take place on 4th August 2012 with great pressure on Spain to retain their title.

Lots of other events and initiatives are being discussed and considered so keep on coming up with your great ideas and we look forward to seeing you soon.
