So where does it all begin...? Back in December 2011 I decided after a derogatory comment on a Facebook photo it was time to start exercising in the effort to trim up the edges. A year on and I have trained hard enough to have already participated in a number of half marathons and continue to currently train whilst on tour in the hot humid climates of Australia.

I am honoured to have been accpeted to participate in the London Marathon 2013 in aid of the Bone Cancer Research Trust. It doesn't mater which cancer charity we help raise money for the result is the same; helping to treat, advise, nurse and even help find a cure and medication to sooth the suffering.

Cancer affects all of us whether it is directly or indirectly, family or friends, we have all suffered at the hands of the aweful power of the big 'C'.

So to help, please give a little which in turn to a charity is a lot!

Earlier this year our family lost a dear close friend to cancer so I dedicate this challenge to 'Sandra Bullock' always a bright bubbly member of society, you will be forever missed.
