Story

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE LONDON MARATHON :) I ran 4 hours 39 mins, I did the first half in 2 hours 10 mins and thought I may be able to break 4 hours 30 mins for the whole thing, a good half hour inside the 5 hour limit I had set myself, but I hit 'the wall' between 20 and 21 miles and had very little energy left, it was one of the hardest things I have ever physically faced to keep going, I had to trot/ walk the last 5 miles which I was a little upset about, but it gives me an amazing feeling to know I can complete a marathon, I am now ready to do more and more, and to keep beating my own times and sponsorship goals. So here we go then, with the Berlin Marathon 2009, I'm running this one for MIND, an amazing charity and one that is close to my heart personally. I'll be donating 10% of my personal income in the coming months in order to get closer to my target of £1,000,000 for Charity, anything you can give will be massively appreciated by me and a great many others. I felt so much love Marathon day in London, from friends and family, from everyone who has sponsored me so far, from everyone who has promised to do so in the future, and from everyone of the 1 Million people out on the streets on the day, that I feel like I want to keep running Marathons for ever! :) I know the people of Berlin will be supporting us just as amazingly, so I cant wait to do it all again..... Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
