It’s that time of year again when I dig out my old trainers and attempt to jog around the streets of Manchester. 

As in previous years I am raising money for Medequip4kids a charity close to my heart and of which I am a Trustee.  

MedEquip4Kids works with medical staff, play therapists, community nurses, the ambulance service and other registered charities to provide equipment and improve the environment in hospitals across theNorth West. Our policy is to fund items known to improve the care provided to children but not readily available with the NHS's limited budgets.

This year we are raising money for several new projects including the new Children's unit atNorthManchester GeneralHospital.
