CHRIS'S INDOOR TRIATHLON for PARENT PROJECT UK
No marathons for me - I can't walk far or cycle in the real world because of "bi-lateral loss of vestibular function", i.e. the balance mechanism in my inner ears is on permanent strike, BUT in a gym, at the Rainbow Centre in Epsom, I can row, walk and cycle without losing my balance.

From Mid-Sept to Mid-Dec 2007 I plan to notch up at least 100 km without going anywhere. I have the approval of my doctor and my trainer at the gym. I shall record the distance covered at the gym and when the gym is closed to me (limited opening hours for Senior Citizens) I can use my exercise bike at home. The distances will be validated by the gym staff or at home by my utterly honest and trustworthy lodger.
