Story
Dear friends and lovers,
On August 16th I shall be trekking up and down the three tallest peaks in Yorkshire - Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) - over the course of a day. While I am mostly doing it for the attention and selfies, I'll also be attempting to raise money for Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO).
My awesome midwife friend Ayla will be heading off to Cambodia later this year to volunteer her baby-delivering skills and train up local midwives for 18 months. In the UK we're really lucky to have amazing healthcare that means we take safe childbirth for granted. Sadly, this is not the case in the developing world and many babies and mums die needlessly because of poor sanitation, lack of training and resources. VSO are doing great work across the world to address these devastating inequalities, but they desperately need your donations to continue their vital work.
Even if you can only donate a couple of quid, I'd be ever so grateful. And I will kiss you.
Lots of love,
Seán x x
PS - Bla bla the boring bit...
