Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Just to remove any lingering suspcion that I retain a tenuous connection to my faculties I have elected to run the London Marathon again !

I will be running for the same charity that I supported last year,  Hearing Dogs for Deaf People,  to which so many of you kindly donated by way of sponsorship last year.  The Marathon will be run on April 25th 2010 and although things are tight at present,  by that date we will be entwined in the green shoots of recovery.  I know this to be true because I heard a politician say so.  So if you can spare a bit of your hard earned cash now it would be greatly appreciated - and not just by me but by all those people whose lives are made so much better by these clever little doggies !
