Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

***STOP PRESS*** I finished!  The time (1hr 51mins) was OK bearing in mind that I started way down the field and didn't have a yard of space the whole way round.  Tim tells me I beat Gordon Ramsay's time by 7 seconds.  Next year I'll be quicker honest!!  Thanks to everyone that sponsored me, all the messages of support were very much appreciated.  It was a great experience.

UPDATED After several years of being nagged by certain individuals (you know who you are) I've decided to take the plunge and enter the Great North Run 2009.  I think I must be in a minority age bracket these days as I got in first time!!  I've even joined a running club (www.stadiumrunners.co.uk) and I'm running around 20 miles a week up hill and down dale (why did I choose to live somewhere so hilly?!) I've managed to lose 20 pounds (weight not money) in the process so I'm officially not 'Fat Boy' anymore!

I've decided to collect for the Psoriasis Association as several people I am very close to have been affected by this chronic skin condition which can make life difficult and almost unbearable at times. 2% of the UK population have Psoriasis in some way shape or form, and although it isn't contagious it can be very difficult just to cope with other people's reactions.  The P.A. is working hard to change the perception of this condition and provide the kind of support and information that sufferers and their family, friends and colleagues will benefit from.

Here's the technical bit....

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Psoriasis Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks in advance....Dom
