Story

UPDATE===========================

Well that was an experience!! Everything went fabulously well for the first 12 miles but then a knee injury started playing up so my finish time was 4:27:48. An amazing experience but not one I'm looking to repeat. Thanks for all your support, and if you haven't donated yet you can still give using the form linked below!

=================================

I am extremely proud to be running the London Marathon this year for COSMIC. As I’m sure you know, Niamh was taken seriously ill in 2007 and was transported from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington by a very special retrieval service for children too sick to be moved from other hospitals without a paediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The ‘Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance’ was entirely paid for with funds raised by COSMIC. She was then treated by the most phenomenal team of staff, again using equipment purchased with charitable donations. Without St Mary’s PICU and COSMIC, Niamh may not have survived. Do watch the attached video to learn more. I would be immensely grateful for your support.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COSMIC (Children Of St Mary's Intensive Care) gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
