Story
Hi my name is Dominic Kinsella I am sixteen years old.
Some time ago a family friend (Hi Tony) was telling me about a bike ride that he organises each year, this is when my ears pricked up. Between 20 and 30 men and women take part in the ride. I have never done anything like this before so the first thing was to buy a light weight racing bike and all the gear to go with it "cheers dad and pops" Then came the difficult part TRAINING I started cycling around four months ago along with Tony and friends. We started off doing around 12 miles all around different roads and country lanes to get me familiar with traffic, and increasing this each week.
We set off on our ride on Friday June 18th 6.30am from Knutsford and will be cycling to Rhoscolyn in Wales a total of 153 miles. We will be highly visable as there are 29 team members in convoy.
I have decided to make my ride a sponsored ride to raise money for Francis House. This is such a worthy cause as any of our famillies could at anytime need their help. So please please dig deep in your pockets and no matter how small all donations are appreciated.
Thanks for all donations and support it is greatly appreciated !
Dominic.
