You know times in Afghanistan must be tough if I'm running for something other than making last orders.

Well, they are. People are starving, girls as young as ten are forced into marriage and women are dying in childbirth every 26 minutes. 

If I can drag myself around five kilometres of the finest Derbyshire countryside then I hope you can get your wallets out. I'm willing to provide photos of my efforts in return for a doubling of the donation.

I'm on the wagon, have called the council to reinforce the pavement and will convert the Dome into a pair of running shorts. I'll be running with my superfit brother-in-law so if all else fails he can give me a tow.
