The Child Bereavement Charity (CBC) is a national charity founded in 1994 to help the many thousands of families every year who suffer the pain of their child's death, and also to help children whose parent or sibling is dying or has died. By listening to both children and parents, CBC strives to improve the care offered by professionals to grieving families both in the immediate crisis and during the many months following the death of someone important in their lives. We do this primarily by offering training and support to professionals, producing resources for grieving children and families, and by establishing support networks amongst families in the community and professionals in healthcare. Thank you for visiting Jemima, Jack, Maisie &  Leo's  fundraising page.

Our gorgeous brother Ned died in his sleep five years ago this July.  He was only eight months but an essential member of our family and lives.   As Ned's brothers and sisters we feel that it is important to mark this anniversary.   We (with Mum and Dad) are going to bike from Reading to Bath on 2 tandems with tag-a-longs over the weekend of 18-20th July 2008.   The distance is 84 miles along the Kennet and Avon canal tow path  This will be a testing task even if the sun decides to shine.

The Child Bereavement Charity (CBC) was at the time of Ned's death, and has been ever since, vital and supportive. The wonderful people at the charity do fantastic work in very emotional circumstances. They have helped many children and families cope with the pain of losing loved ones.

We ask that you sponsor us for a sum you feel happy with. Any support is most welcome.
