Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the team known as the Done Moanians.

On the 14th Jun 2008, six amazing individuals will tackle the much acclaimed Three Peaks Challenge, a mountain endurance challenge in which participants attempt to climb the highest peaks of each of the island's three countries- Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scaffel Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales).... in 24 hours.

The Challenge will start with climbing Ben Nevis (1344m) before they tackle Scaffel Pike (978m) and finally Snowdon (1085m). In all the challenge involves some 42 km (26 miles) of ascent and descent, with total travel distance approaching 765 km (around 475 miles). The challenge also requires that all three mountains are climbed within one day. To tackle each mountain individually is quite a feat in itself but to complete all three in under 24hrs is something different indeed!!

We are completing this challenge on behalf of Christian Aid who have kindly given us a place in this event. Christian Aid works with the world’s poorest people, in nearly 50 countries overseas and tackle the causes and consequences of poverty and injustice.
