My story
Many people choose to remember a loved one by making a donation in memory or by asking for donations as an alternative to sending flowers to a funeral. A memorial donation is a fitting way to remember a special person, while at the same time helping others.
If you would like your donation in memory to be acknowledged, please complete the online form with your name and preferred method of contact as well as letting us know the name of the person in whose memory you are donating.
We keep our fundraising and administration costs as low as possible so as to ensure the maximum amount of donations being available is spent on the care and welfare of the donkeys. This year our fundraising and administration costs were 8.4 pence for every £1 of the total income generated for the charity.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a donation to the The Donkey Sanctuary.
If you are a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

The Donkey Sanctuary has taken over 14,500 donkeys into its care and has over 45 welfare officers who can follow up reports of cruelty to or neglect of donkeys, quickly and efficiently.
