Story

A big thumbs up from Ryley for taking the time to visit his page!

Ryley was born 8 weeks premature on 27th July 2008. As a consequence he was unfortunately diagnosed with spastic diplegia Cerebral palsy at about one years old.

He is a very intelligent, determined little chap, with a heart of gold and is full of wickedness! Ryley is unlike his peers and can not sit unaided, only "W" sitting and then occasionally topples over. He can not stand or walk independently and has problems balancing.

He attends mainstream pre school and has a dream to see a doctor at hospital who will maybe help him to walk. This is Ryley's dream and with your help, im sure it will be possible.

We are rasing funds to enable him to have an operation called SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) which invoves cutting the nerves in his lower back, which at the moment cause Ryley to be very stiff and cause spasicity in his limbs. The outcome for children who have been fortunate enough to have raised the funds and had the operation have been marvellous and very promising.

So if you will give a donation to let Ryley live his dream to be like his sister to walk, run, kick a ball and ride a bike, which we all probably like doing! Thank you and big hugs from Ry! X
