OK, that’s the official part over with, now onto the actual sponsored event itself......

'A 10km walk, with a twist'

The idea was born on the 17th April, whilst having "one or two" beverages to help celebrate and remember the life of a very special Daughter, Sister Mother and friend to many.

As many of you who log on to make a donation will remember, the plan was to organise a sponsored walk in memory of Sheree, with the aim of raising monies for both cancer charities and Kirkwood Hospice.

It is fair to say that it was unanimously agreed on that day, that any walk arranged
in memory of Sheree would not be fitting unless it incorporated a few choice watering holes along the way, with the main emphasis being on "FUN".

Therefore, on the 25th of October this year, I invite you all to either partake
(e.g. sponsor yourself) or sponsor a friend who is partaking in this walk and join
Sheree's family and close friends in raising money for 3 excellent charities.

All those of you who were fortunate enough to know Sheree, would know that she herself would have been first on the entrants list (especially when hearing about the "pit stops") so please, lets all make this a special day in memory of someone who may be gone, but certainly never forgotten!!
