My son Jack was born on the 5th June 1999 with Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome, he went through an open heart surgery when he was three days old but sadly did not make it.  On the day that is his 10th birthday myself and two of my work colleagues Lynette Ogilvie, Natalie Marshall are participating in the Big Bike Ride, this event has been organised by my work and we will be cycling from Hamilton(South Lanarkshire) to Leeds(Stourton) this is roughly 200 miles and they have kindly allowed me to donate my share to this fantastic charity.  For nearly Ten years they have supported me and helped me keep in contact with Families going through the same thing.  They are a great support network for both Families with children who have HLHS and families that are suffering a loss also people who have had Ante-Natal diagnosis.  I can't think of a more poignant way to commemorate my Beautiful Sons memory than to raise awareness for this charity.  Please give generously in memory of Jack.
