About my charity : St John's Hospice St John's Hospice
St John's Hospice uses a holistic approach to treatment and care, to help more than 600 people a year take control of their lives and learn to manage their illnesses, rather than their illnesses managing them. Focusing on their medical, emotional and spiritual needs, its 19-bed inpatient unit, day services centre and Hospice at Home team provide care, support and advice to patients from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of this is provided entirely free of charge.

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, I hope that you will be able to sponsor me in raising some money towards a very valuable cause, St John's Hospicec,  by donating online.

I madly agreed to enter the 10k at a time when I was relatively fit in the midst of the hockey season. Sadly the season has finished, and the training regime also seems to have declined and I am a little injured but am going to carry on all the same, albeit probably at a slow canter!!

It really is for a great cause so if you are able to spare some funds to sponsor me, I would really appreciate it!

St John's Hospice provides care and support to a whole range of people from a wide stretch of London, supporting patients and their families is at the core of the services offered at St John's.  This year it will cost £2.65 million to continue run the Hospice and the vast majority of this income is down to fundraising so please be one of the people that keep these essential services operating by sponsoring us and raising money for a charity close to all our hearts, st John's, the Hospice in the Heart of London.
