Thanks for visiting my fundraising page...there's something I never thought I would see myself type!! I've somehow ended up agreeing to walk 13 miles through the night to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis. Those of you that know me well can have a good laugh at the thought of me trying to manage this but I am absolutely determined to finish...as I will clearly do anything to get to the bacon sarnie that is supposedly waiting at the end for me!! The longest I've walked so far in training is about 8 miles and I couldn't actually get out of bed the next morning...doesn't bode well! But still (here comes the pleading bit) HSF are a fantastic charity and a bit of pain and a few blisters will be worth it to try and raise as much money as possible. My friend and I have set an overall target of a thousand pounds between us and every little will help. So I would be really really grateful if you could throw a few quid our way to help.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! Saturday 21 June - 10.10pm...just about to go and pick up Jo...can I back out of this on the grounds of diminished responsibility??? Oh well...here we go...
