I will be running the Bupa Great North 10K in Sunderland on 12th July 09, in aid of Rainbows Children's Hospice.

My son Joshua spent many days at Rainbows for respite care and he loved it there.  The staff made his time fun from the moment he arrived.  Josh particularly liked the music therapy sessions and would kick the drums with his happy feet.  The one to one care that Rainbows provide ensures all the children's very complex care needs are fully met. 

After Josh passed away, Rainbows was there for us whenever we needed them.  Mandy the bereavement nurse was, and still is fantastic.  The support we receive from Mandy is immeasurable, we could not have possibly coped with the burden of our incredible loss without her.  Rainbow's really do enrich lives.
