I did it!! Had an absolutely amazing time last week on board the Sorlandet and thanks to you we raised over £1,300 for Max Appeal - http://www.maxappeal.org.uk. The trip was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone who has the slightest interest in sailing on one of these beautiful ships. I felt completely safe throughout the trip. We were well looked after and shown how to climb all three masts safely. We were shown how to hoist sails and take them in and as an additional bonus the food was gourmet standard - our beautiful Danish cook, Anna (pictures to follow), cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for 50, every day !!. I have begun to add some photos and a video and will add some more as I receive them from the friends I made on board. I was the only Brit on board apart from a nice guy from Luxembourg who was born in the UK but has lived abroad for years. Nationalities were mainly German, Lithuanian and Scandinavian but their English was mostly impeccable...
