Founded in 2001, Dont Walk Charity Fashion show began in light  of the September 11th attacks and has since been inspired by the pace and rhythm of New York streets. While remaining true to its roots, DONT WALK continuously develops and promotes creativity, always striving to reach the highest standards of professionalism. Over the past nine years, DONT WALK has also established a year-round presence in St. Andrews and has always built strong relationships with the chosen charities.

The fashion show reaches an audience of over 1,200 guests ranging from the internationally diverse student population to guests from the national and Consumer press, the world of business and fashion, the sponsors and the Charity representatives.

In 2007, dont walk raised £10,000 for margherita missoni’s orphanage Africa and the sandpiper trust. In 2008, £12,000 was raised for opportunity International and the helen feather trust. Unfortunately, the 2009 show only  Raised £3,500 for invisible children, as the recession limited our funding;  However, dont walk worked very closely with the charity and a broader audience of St. Andrews students to raise huge awareness and media support for the cause. We hope to carry this new emphasis on awareness forward while providing greater financial support to Bottletop, the 2010 DONT WALK Charity.
