Coeliac UK is the only charity in the UK, which supports those with coeliac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. It receives no government funding and is dependent on the generosity of the public to fund practical support, awareness raising and research into the condition.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I am delighted at having the opportunity to run in the London Marathon to raise funds for the association that has enabled me to eat confidently with Coeliac disease. Since a bone scan identified my poor bone density I was advised to change my sport from swimming to running. I hated it but persevered. Now at 61, with 12 years of 10K running and vey much improved bone density, I am preparing for this major event. Please help me to say a huge "thank you" to Coeliac UK. Their food and drink directory and telephone advice are invaluable.
