In December an envelope arrived at Pippa's door from The London Marathon, at that point the first ... Oh my god.. Was uttered.
Pippa is in!
In a bid to share the pain, David agreed to do the training and together we decided on a charity to run for.
Clic Sargent does some amazing work which has real tangible benefits for the children and their families who are suffering from Cancer and Leukaemia. They are the largest children’s cancer charity and the London Marathon is it’s largest fund raiser.
Since that December day we have followed the training plan for April 23rd in an effort not only to complete the course but to do so in a time we both recognise as being the best we can do and hopefully will never attempt to better! The training is very hard and we are both also competing in The Reading Half Marathon on April 9 as well as carrying on with our rowing and sculling.
