Hope and Homes for Children will be closing the Comanesti Orphanage in eastern Romania and resettling the children - either reuniting them with their own families or placing them in small family type homes. The homes need to be built, purchased and then furnished ready for the children. We have chosen to support the outfitting phase of the project.

£283 could buy 2 dining tables and 12 chairs made by Atti’s workshop, which offers training and a job to young people leaving institutional care, so that the children can sit and eat their meals together

£504 could furnish the living room with beanbags, couches and a table so that all the children can relax together

£690 could buy all the curtains and carpets needed to keep the children warm and snug in their new home

£1863 could provide playground equipment for the garden so that the children can enjoy playing together outdoors

£9948 could equip a whole Small Family Type home for up to 12 children
