My personal message:

Dear friends,

You may remember that after the hardships endured running the London Marathon last year I said never again for about 24 hours. I then changed that to be never again unless for a good cause. Well not only have I found a good cause I have found a "GREAT CAUSE".

The Children's Liver Disease Foundation does amazing work and I was blissfully unaware of how many children develop liver disease. Please look at their website to see how big a problem this is and what fantastic work they are doing. I am keen to raise as much as possible and would ask you all too dig deep.

I know that you are all constantly being badgered to donate to this cause or that but as I said earlier this is not a good cause it is a GREAT CAUSE.
