Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Manchester 10k supporting The Stroke Association. I ran the 10k last year, but just did it for myself to prove that I could. This year I'm doing it again but wanted to see others benefit from my efforts. I decided to support The Stroke Association for two main reasons: firstly, one of the stalwarts of our local football club Heyside Juniors (Martin Buckley) passed away last month after suffering a stroke so I wanted to do something in his memory. Secondly the association are really trying hard at the moment to publicise how we can better understand and prevent the long term effects from having a stroke. So - please support my effort to raise awareness and some funds for them by donating now!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Stroke Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks for your support
