Story

After a recent Breast Cancer scare I appreciated how important support, care and information is to people waiting for results and for getting them through the trauma of having this cruel disease.

One of the ladies with whom I was in the waiting room didn't have the good news I did. We, my husband, Michael, & I felt very sad for her as she had made huge plans and many would not now be possible.

I spoke to a dear friend and asked her if she fancied a stroll along the prom for a good cause. She said yes so I've organised this 5k or 10k walk on Dover Seafront on the evening of the 31st of March 2018 which is the night of the full moon so hopefully it will shine down on us.

Then she (Sue Birchenough) said put it on Facebook and the rest, as they say, is history and we have 601 guys & girls #doingitinpink in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

Please show your support for this amazing cause but donating here.

I have been so fortunate since starting this journey to have met some awesome people who have amazing courage and desire to fight.

I am very proud to be part of #doverspinkarmy with whom I will be walking on Saturday the 31st of March 2018.

No matter how small your donation we really appreciate your generosity

Thank you xxx
