10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

On 11th May 2014 Kelly, James, Andrew, Maggie and Eric are taking part in the Ataxia Spring Classic bike ride to raise money for Ataxia UK.

People with Ataxia, have problems with movement, balance, and speech. There is currently no cure but cleverer people than us are working to find one. Ataxia UK manage research funding, and do a great job of supporting those diagnosed with it.
