Oliver passed away at 11 months and two weeks old on the 25th July 2008 due to his heart condition.
My wife Sarah took so much advice and comfort from Heartline that we would like to give something back to the charity. Their forum is a wonderful place and the people so genuine and caring. For the past few months it proved invaluable to us.
Oliver suffered from many issues caused primarily from Noonans Syndrome and was under 17 Dr's and medical staff. He main condition was Cardio Myopathy which is a thickening of the heart muscle restricting blood flow. This is what eventually caused him to pass away.
He was a loving and happy little boy as the photo shows - even with a feeding tube and heart monitor for tests he would still smile. This shows his strength, love for life and that even in times of distress we really should remain positive.
He passed away in my arms shortly after dawn. We had been to the beach and watched the sunrise over the sea. You are in peace now Oliver.
We love you

We have asked for donations at Oliver's funeral and my friend Graeme Brown suggested that Just Giving would be the perfect way to donate. We agree so please donate what you can to this wonderful organization.
Heartline are a small charity which really need your help. They produce a range of booklets that are given to parents of children who have heart conditions. These are usually given through the hospitals and prove invaluable in the help and support that they give. Heartline also arrange for children to go on activity holidays where medically allowed. For those who cannot undertake physical activities Heartline own 2 static caravans which can be used by families to take their children too on holiday. All of the above is expensive to run so please donate whatever you are able to.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Heart Line Association gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
