Story

Thanks for visiting the donations page for the University Computing Laboratory entry to the annual Dragon Boat Race on May 10th 2009.

Our team - 'The Floating Points' are  dragon boat novices and the team comprises 20 individuals from the department willing to risk life and limb (well wet hair at least!) to raise money for the charities below.

We will be splitting the proceeds of the 2/3 share (1/3 will go to the Rotary Club who themselves undertake charitable activity) between the following :

35% to the Bletchley Museum of Computing Charity

35% to Sobell House Hospice

15% to Cancer Research UK

15% to Water Aid

Please support our team !

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
