Thanks for visiting my Cut Steve's Dreadlocks fundraising page.

The super-quick story:

1. Steve hasn't had a haircut for 5 (yes, FIVE) years
2. And so Steve grew dreadlocks. The dreads came as a surprise to him, actually. (Oh yes!)
3. Much as Steve now loves his dreadlocks, it's time they were cut.
4. Steve thought it would be fun if he got them cut for charity (The Railway Children)
5. So Steve is going to get his haircut on his birthday (May 2nd, 2009) or when he raises £1000, here - whichever is sooner - and he'll post a video onto YouTube as proof! :-)

(You can find more details here:
a) About the history of Steve's dreadlocks
b) About Steve's first haircut in 5 years!
c) Watch Steve's hilarious - okay, funny-ish! - YouTube dreadlocks video )

Please donate below. Thanks.

By the way, donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Railway Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

And when you do, it would be great if you'd leave a comment. Why not tell us the longest you've gone without a haircut! It'll make interesting reading - thanks.
