Bewl Water Dragonboat Festival · 14 September 2013

Dreamflight's aim is to take children with a serious illness or disability to Orlando for the holiday of a lifetime visiting the theme parks. To bring some fun and joy to these children whose illnesses cause pain, distress and disruption to their lives.

Story

On September 14th 2013 a team of around 25 staff from British Airways are entering the Bewl Water Dragonboat festival, the largest in Europe, in aid of Dreamflight.

We will be racing against approximately 60 teams and this year we intend to win!

We are hoping to cover the costs of taking 2 children on Dreamflight in their entirety this year but if we could make it 3 we will be delighted.

Dreamflight is a registered UK charity that changes young lives through taking seriously ill and disabled children, without their parents, on the holiday of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida.

The impact that this has on the children cannot be overstated, as due to their illnesses, they often haven't been outside the UK and in virtually every case have never been away from their parents.

We provide all the medical, support staff and volunteers for the trip, as well as chartering a 747 Jumbo to take everybody to the US.

Please visit www.dreamflight.org for more details about their wonderful work.
