On 1st May 2008 Graham and Eirene Naismith, together with their 3 children Hannah (6), Emily (4) and Abigail (1) embarked on a 30,000 mile charity drive from Purley near Croydon to Cairns, the north east tip of Australia.
Their journey took them through Europe into the Ukraine, south west Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrghystan, China (Olympics!), Laos, Thailand (where their car blew up) and onto Perth (not driving this bit - too wet) in Western Australia. The final leg saw them follow a 13,700 mile often sandy route around the entire circumference of Australia through Cairns and back round to Perth.
