Go Help - Mongolia Charity Rally 2010 · 10 July 2010 ·

Go Help is a UK registered charity that works with local communities in Central Asia to improve their access to healthcare and education services. Go Help fundraises for its projects by challenging people to undertake incredible adventures like the Mongolia Charity Rally and Roof of the World Rally.

Story

Driven Mad?

Two lads from Northern Ireland have undertaken what can only be described as a mad 10,000-mile drive from Lisburn in Northern Ireland to Ulaan Bataar in Mongolia via Almaty in Kazakhstan and all for charity.  We set off in July 2010 on a gruelling adventure nearly half-way round the world to deliver a working van and its contents of clothing and bedding to children’s charities in the impoverished central Asian countries.  We have a month’s driving through a dozen countries, over mountain ranges and finally across the Gobi Desert to reach our goal.

We've raised lots of money directly at our fund raising events and are now just starting to concentrate our efforts online.

Please donate online - we're hoping to raise £1000 online for Go Help, or donate offline to help Alpha Communities and with fuel costs.

Thanks in advance for your generousity.
