Trekking 400 miles through the Great Sand Sea of Eygpt · 27 December 2009

Mountbatten is the Isle of Wight's only hospice and is known for innovation across the UK and beyond. We provide expert medical, nursing and domiciliary end of life care and bereavement support to people in their own homes, including care homes, in our Newport building and in the local hospital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am trekking 600km through the Great Sand Sea of Egypt with 'The Explorer School' in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.  Departing on the 27th December 2009, returning on the 31st January 2010. The trek was first completed by Gerhard Rohlfs in 1874, and has probably only been completed once since.  All money raised will go directly to the charity (I am meeting the cost of the trip myself).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
