Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

CURE works to improve the lives of children with treatable disabilities through specialised surgical and compassionate care. Through our eight paediatric teaching hospitals in underserved countries, we provide free corrective care, as well as training for local healthcare workers to do the same.

Story

I will be running in the Flora London Marathon again on April 26th, 2009. This year I am hoping to raise money for the Beit-CURE International Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi.

The Beit CURE International Hospital  is a 66-bed teaching hospital that specializes in treating the orthopaedic needs of children and adults. The facility was opened in 2002 and serves children with physical disabilities regardless of their ethnic background, religious affiliation or ability to pay.  You can see the work of the hospital at :

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me:CURE will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you

Thankyou so much,  and Best Wishes, Tim
