CURE UK helps transform the lives of physically disabled children in the developing world by providing operations and medical care free of charge. Since the first hospital opened in 1998 CURE has helped over 1,850,000 children, but there are 100 million more who could be cured through an operation.

I will be running in the Flora London Marathon again on April 26th, 2009. This year I am hoping to raise money for the Beit-CURE International Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi.

The Beit CURE International Hospital is a 66-bed teaching hospital that specializes in treating the orthopaedic needs of children and adults. The facility was opened in 2002 and serves children with physical disabilities regardless of their ethnic background, religious affiliation or ability to pay.
