Story
I wasn't sure where to start with this as it affects me in several ways... The bottom line is I have an aggressive Lymphoma that's spread through from my Colon to my Liver to a few dozen Lymph nodes throughout my body. It's now spread as far as my neck/throat but looks to have been halted in it's tracks (as have I) within week one of specialist Steroid pills and intensive Chemotherapy. NONE of the progress that has been made in the last fortnight would have been possible without the knowledge and breakthroughs of charities like Cancer Research and the help from Macmillan... Why do I ask anyone to spend January sweating off December's alcohol binge? Well It'll be damn good for you :) , it could save you a ton of cash, and you could siphon off a bit of that saving to a charity that everyone should have much more time for...... They need every penny they can get, and the increasing number of Cancer victims in the UK deserve the great fast acting treatment and care I've started receiving. I'll be extending my non drinking pledge to about 5 months because I won't be allowed to basically - but just joining me for 1 month will give me a huge boost too! Please think hard about donating whatever you can - 1 in 3 of us will at some point be affected by Cancer... just keep that in mind... Every penny counts.
