[**The personalised bit** Hello everyone. I have decided to join the Dryathlon and not drink anything alcoholic for the whole of the month of January, for Cancer Research UK. I will be donating my usual average spend on alcohol in a month and I'm hoping to collect some sponsorship money, too. I know it's not really the most 'outstanding' thing to do as a fundraiser, compared to, say, climbing a mountain or skydiving or running a marathon. But, in the spirit of things like Movember, I've decided to do my little bit to try to contribute...and as many of you know I do enjoy my regular vat of wine, so it will be something of a personal challenge for me!]   The Dryathlete’s Oath I promise that I shall take part in Dryathlon™, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern it, committing myself to a month without alcohol, in the true spirit of do-gooding, for the glory of Dryathletes and the honour of Cancer Research UK.
