We are competing in the Canadian Trans-Rockies Challenge in August 2007. The event is an epic 600 kilometre mountain-bike race through the heart of the wild and rugged Canadian Rocky Mountains. the event is held over 7 days.  Held for the first time in 2002, the race has proven to be an adventure and experience like no other.

In its short history, the Trans-Rockies Challenge has quickly earned the reputation as being the toughest and most challenging of the epic endurance races in the world.  Hundreds of competitors from all over the world, Olympians to amateurs, come every year to spend seven days deep in the Canadian Rockies taking on the trails, the elements and themselves.  It is truly the challenge of a lifetime.

By competing in the event we are hoping to raise money for CLIC Sargent Northern Ireland.  CLIC Sargent provides much needed emotional and financial support to children and young people and their families who are diagnosed with cancer.  The charity has a very close connection to our team, as one of the team members saw first hand through his own experiences, the good work that the charity carries out.
