Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this new JustGiving page.

Most of you will, by now, be familiar with how this works so I will not bore you with a tedious explanation.

This year your intrepid cyclists have chosen to cycle across Ireland in six days. We have chosen an undulating and picturesque route that takes us from Dublin Bay via the highest village in Ireland, Roundwood, through the Wicklow mountains to the Marble City of Kilkenny. Onward to the the cider capital (mmm?) Clonmel, Mallow, beautiful Killarney and finally to the home of Fungi the lost dolphin, Dingle. On completion of this arduous trek, one more challenge awaits - the ascent of Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest peak.

We have been impressed with the many offers of help along the route and hope that you too will be able to help by making a contribution to our charity which, this year, is Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you all for reading this and digging out your credit cards. Keep up with our progress (or lack of) with some wise words and fab, fun photos at www.dublin2dingle.blogspot.co.uk
