The Dumball Rally · 25 March 2008

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

In January 2006, Charlotte Adams was diagnosed with a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Thanks to the work carried out by Leukaemia Research (and the care of the Doctors, Nurses and Anthony Nolan trust), Charlotte survived a bone marrow transplant and is slowly getting back to full strength.

Charlotte’s dad Paul, along with friends ‘Uncle’ Rob and Graham are now prepared to heap ridicule upon themselves to raise money for this fantastic charity. They are taking part in the Dumball 2008 as ‘Austin Rovers – International men of Mystery’ and will be dressed as Austin Powers, Dr Evil and Number 2 (we’ll leave it to your imagination to work out who is who!).

We will be posting a daily blog starting nearer the time which will be found at http://www.InternationalMenofMystery.co.uk for your amusement!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
